L\u2019annonce a \u00e9t\u00e9 faite ce mercredi 2 octobre 2024, \u00e0 l\u2019issue du Conseil des ministres par Roger Baro, ministre de l\u2019<strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><a style=\"color: #339966;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/environnement.faso\">Environnement, de l\u2019Eau et de l\u2019Assainissement<\/a><\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ce nouveau projet de loi s\u2019inscrit dans une r\u00e9vision de la loi n\u00b0017-2014\/AN du 20 mai 2014, qui interdisait d\u00e9j\u00e0 la production, la commercialisation, et la distribution des emballages et sachets plastiques non biod\u00e9gradables. Selon le ministre Baro, cette relecture intervient apr\u00e8s une d\u00e9cennie de mise en \u0153uvre qui a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 des limites majeures. \u00ab L\u2019application de la loi de 2014 est rest\u00e9e faible, contribuant \u00e0 la prolif\u00e9ration des d\u00e9chets plastiques dans l\u2019environnement \u00bb, a-t-il pr\u00e9cis\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Parmi les innovations de ce nouveau texte, l\u2019interdiction g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de tous les types d\u2019emballages plastiques, qu\u2019ils soient biod\u00e9gradables ou non, ainsi que l\u2019interdiction des plastiques \u00e0 usage unique ou jetables. Le br\u00fblage des plastiques, source de gaz canc\u00e9rig\u00e8nes, est \u00e9galement prohib\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p>Toutefois, certaines d\u00e9rogations sont accord\u00e9es, notamment pour les emballages servant au conditionnement direct des produits industriels comme les eaux pr\u00e9emball\u00e9es, ainsi que ceux utilis\u00e9s pour des raisons de sant\u00e9 publique, de recherche scientifique, ou de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 nationale. Les plastiques durs destin\u00e9s \u00e0 des usages durables ne sont \u00e9galement pas concern\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Le gouvernement accorde un d\u00e9lai de six mois aux acteurs concern\u00e9s pour se conformer \u00e0 cette nouvelle r\u00e9glementation. Ce projet de loi sera prochainement soumis \u00e0 l\u2019examen de l\u2019Assembl\u00e9e l\u00e9gislative de Transition pour adoption.
