Il entend d\u00e9sormais le transformer sur son propre sol. \u00c0 Ouagadougou, ce lundi 28 septembre 2026, le Pr\u00e9sident du Faso, le Capitaine Ibrahim Traor\u00e9, a officiellement inaugur\u00e9 RAFFINOR-BF, la premi\u00e8re raffinerie d\u2019or du pays. Une infrastructure strat\u00e9gique annonc\u00e9e comme un nouvel outil de valorisation de la richesse mini\u00e8re nationale.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">Pendant des d\u00e9cennies, l\u2019or burkinab\u00e8 \u00e9tait extrait sur le territoire national avant d\u2019\u00eatre export\u00e9 pour subir les op\u00e9rations de raffinage \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger. Avec RAFFINOR-BF, une nouvelle s\u00e9quence s\u2019ouvre : <\/span><span class=\"s2\">raffiner l\u2019or au Burkina Faso, cr\u00e9er davantage de valeur sur place et renforcer la ma\u00eetrise nationale de la cha\u00eene aurif\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">164 tonnes par an, 515 tonnes \u00e0 terme<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">La premi\u00e8re phase de RAFFINOR-BF affiche une capacit\u00e9 de raffinage de <\/span><span class=\"s2\">164 tonnes d\u2019or par an<\/span><span class=\"s3\">. Une deuxi\u00e8me installation doit porter cette capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 <\/span><span class=\"s2\">515 tonnes annuelles<\/span><span class=\"s3\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">L\u2019objectif est clair : disposer d\u2019un outil industriel capable de transformer l\u2019or dor\u00e9 en lingots d\u2019or fin de <\/span><span class=\"s2\">24 carats, titrant \u00e0 99,9 %<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, selon les standards internationaux annonc\u00e9s par les promoteurs du projet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">Cette capacit\u00e9 place ainsi le raffinage au c\u0153ur de la strat\u00e9gie de valorisation locale de la production aurif\u00e8re.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">11 milliards de FCFA investis<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">La r\u00e9alisation de RAFFINOR-BF a n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 un investissement annonc\u00e9 de <\/span><span class=\"s2\">11 milliards de FCFA<\/span><span class=\"s3\">. Le financement associe l\u2019\u00c9tat, \u00e0 travers la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nationale des substances pr\u00e9cieuses du Burkina Faso, et des partenaires priv\u00e9s.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">Mais au-del\u00e0 du montant investi, l\u2019enjeu est celui de la <\/span><span class=\"s2\">valeur capt\u00e9e par l\u2019\u00e9conomie nationale<\/span><span class=\"s3\">. En raffinant son or sur place, le Burkina Faso cherche \u00e0 conserver davantage d\u2019activit\u00e9s, de comp\u00e9tences et de retomb\u00e9es \u00e9conomiques autour de cette ressource strat\u00e9gique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">De la mine au lingot : une cha\u00eene qui se rapproche du Burkina<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">RAFFINOR-BF veut ainsi faire \u00e9voluer le r\u00f4le du pays dans l\u2019industrie aurif\u00e8re : ne plus \u00eatre uniquement un territoire de production, mais aussi un espace de transformation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s3\">Derri\u00e8re chaque lingot, il y a d\u00e9sormais, au-del\u00e0 de l\u2019extraction, une cha\u00eene industrielle nationale : les mineurs, les techniciens, les ing\u00e9nieurs et les infrastructures mobilis\u00e9es pour transformer le m\u00e9tal pr\u00e9cieux en or raffin\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s2\">L\u2019enjeu d\u00e9passe donc la seule inauguration d\u2019une usine.
