La compagnie a\u00e9rienne fran\u00e7aise a officiellement annonc\u00e9 la fermeture de sa repr\u00e9sentation locale au Mali \u00e0 compter du 30 juin 2026, une d\u00e9cision qui pourrait \u00e9galement concerner le Burkina Faso et le Niger, selon plusieurs sources concordantes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\">Dans une correspondance dat\u00e9e du 15 juin 2026 et sign\u00e9e par la Directrice pays, Awa Traor\u00e9 Diakit\u00e9, Air France a inform\u00e9 ses partenaires de la cessation des activit\u00e9s de son bureau de repr\u00e9sentation au Mali. Le document, adress\u00e9 aux acteurs du secteur a\u00e9rien et aux agences de voyage, marque la fin d\u2019une pr\u00e9sence locale historique de la compagnie dans le pays.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\">Dans son message, Air France exprime sa reconnaissance envers ses partenaires maliens pour \u00ab les relations de confiance et de collaboration entretenues au fil des ann\u00e9es \u00bb. La compagnie souligne avoir particuli\u00e8rement appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 \u00ab la qualit\u00e9 des \u00e9changes, le professionnalisme et l\u2019engagement \u00bb de ses interlocuteurs, qui ont permis de b\u00e2tir des relations durables et constructives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\">Malgr\u00e9 cette fermeture, Air France assure que le suivi des partenaires et des agences de voyage ne sera pas interrompu. L\u2019assistance continuera d\u2019\u00eatre assur\u00e9e par le <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Help Desk AGV<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, qui devient d\u00e9sormais l\u2019interlocuteur privil\u00e9gi\u00e9 pour toutes les demandes relatives aux services de la compagnie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\">Cette d\u00e9cision intervient dans un contexte marqu\u00e9 par la suspension prolong\u00e9e des vols de plusieurs compagnies occidentales vers les pays de l\u2019AES. Depuis plusieurs mois, des sp\u00e9culations faisaient \u00e9tat d\u2019une possible reprise des activit\u00e9s d\u2019Air France dans la r\u00e9gion. Cependant, la fermeture des repr\u00e9sentations locales au Mali et, selon certaines indiscr\u00e9tions, \u00e0 Ouagadougou et potentiellement \u00e0 Niamey, laisse penser que la compagnie a revu ses perspectives \u00e0 moyen terme.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\">Si Air France n\u2019a pas encore communiqu\u00e9 officiellement sur les situations du Burkina Faso et du Niger, plusieurs observateurs du secteur consid\u00e8rent cette r\u00e9organisation comme le signe d\u2019un retrait durable de la compagnie dans l\u2019espace AES.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p4\"><span class=\"s3\">Pour les professionnels du voyage et du transport a\u00e9rien, cette \u00e9volution marque un tournant important dans les relations entre la compagnie fran\u00e7aise et les trois pays sah\u00e9liens.
