Longtemps limit\u00e9e \u00e0 des initiatives exp\u00e9rimentales, elle s\u2019impose d\u00e9sormais comme un levier strat\u00e9gique pour l\u2019industrialisation agroalimentaire nationale. \u00c0 Matourkou, dans la r\u00e9gion du Guiriko, la ferme Djoda d\u2019Oumarou Compaor\u00e9 vient de livrer une commande de 20 tonnes d\u2019ananas \u00e0 une unit\u00e9 de transformation locale, confirmant ainsi la mont\u00e9e en puissance d\u2019une fili\u00e8re en pleine structuration.<\/p>\n<p>Depuis 2018, le Burkina Faso s\u2019est engag\u00e9 dans une dynamique d\u2019intensification de la culture de l\u2019ananas. L\u2019objectif : garantir un approvisionnement r\u00e9gulier en mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re pour les usines sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es dans la transformation des produits locaux.<\/p>\n<p>Dans le champ d\u2019un demi-hectare de la ferme Djoda, les ouvriers s\u2019activent pour honorer une commande \u00e9valu\u00e9e \u00e0 pr\u00e8s de dix millions de francs CFA. \u00ab Nous ne sommes plus au stade de l\u2019exp\u00e9rimentation. L\u00e0, ils sont pes\u00e9s, d\u00e9charg\u00e9s, lav\u00e9s puis introduits dans le circuit de traitement pour \u00eatre transform\u00e9s en jus naturel. Une \u00e9tape cl\u00e9 qui illustre la volont\u00e9 du pays de valoriser sur place ses mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res.<\/p>\n<p>Pour les industriels, le recours au produit local est aussi un choix \u00e9conomique. \u00ab Importer l\u2019ananas revient plus cher \u00e0 cause des taxes, des droits de douane et m\u00eame de la TSV (Taxe sur la boisson) appliqu\u00e9e sur la mati\u00e8re import\u00e9e \u00bb, explique un responsable de l\u2019usine. D\u2019o\u00f9 l\u2019importance strat\u00e9gique d\u2019une production nationale fiable et abondante.<\/p>\n<p>La demande s\u2019intensifie : en plus des 20 tonnes achet\u00e9es \u00e0 Matourkou, une autre usine \u00e0 Ouagadougou a exprim\u00e9 un besoin imm\u00e9diat de 30 tonnes. Une preuve que la fili\u00e8re entre dans une phase d\u2019industrialisation acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Un secteur porteur d\u2019emplois et de perspectives<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Face \u00e0 l\u2019ampleur de la demande, Oumarou Compaor\u00e9 encourage d\u2019autres producteurs \u00e0 s\u2019engager dans la culture de l\u2019ananas. Deux coop\u00e9ratives ont d\u00e9j\u00e0 vu le jour pour renforcer les capacit\u00e9s de production. Mais une seule ferme ne peut satisfaire les besoins croissants des usines.<\/p>\n<p>L\u2019ambition du producteur est claire : \u00e9tendre son exploitation \u00e0 100 hectares dans les ann\u00e9es \u00e0 venir.
