{"id":291,"date":"2024-09-21T19:28:56","date_gmt":"2024-09-21T19:28:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/voxsahel.com\/?p=291"},"modified":"2024-09-21T19:28:56","modified_gmt":"2024-09-21T19:28:56","slug":"lutte-contre-le-paludisme-lancement-du-troisieme-passage-de-la-campagne-cps-au-burkina-faso","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voxsahel.com\/?p=291","title":{"rendered":"Lutte contre le paludisme : lancement du troisi\u00e8me passage de la campagne CPS+ au Burkina Faso"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>\u00a0Le vendredi 20 septembre 2024, le ministre de la Sant\u00e9, Dr Robert Kargougou, a officiellement lanc\u00e9 le troisi\u00e8me passage de la campagne de Chimio-pr\u00e9vention du Paludisme Saisonnier Plus (CPS+) au Centre de sant\u00e9 et de promotion sociale (CSPS) de Gallo, dans le district sanitaire de Sapouy. Cette campagne, d&rsquo;envergure nationale, s&rsquo;inscrit dans le cadre de la lutte contre le paludisme, une maladie qui reste l&rsquo;une des principales causes de mortalit\u00e9 infantile au Burkina Faso.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>La CPS+ vise \u00e0 prot\u00e9ger environ 4,5 millions d&rsquo;enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de 3 \u00e0 59 mois contre le paludisme pendant la saison de haute transmission. Dans certains quartiers, les enfants \u00e2g\u00e9s de neuf ans b\u00e9n\u00e9ficieront \u00e9galement du traitement. La campagne comprend \u00e9galement des actions parall\u00e8les de destruction des g\u00eetes larvaires et de d\u00e9pistage de la malnutrition, renfor\u00e7ant ainsi l&rsquo;impact global sur la sant\u00e9 publique.<\/p>\n<p>Lors de la c\u00e9r\u00e9monie de lancement, le ministre Kargougou a insist\u00e9 sur l&rsquo;importance de cette initiative, qui permet de r\u00e9duire significativement les cas de paludisme chez les enfants. Selon lui, les m\u00e9dicaments administr\u00e9s lors de cette campagne prot\u00e9geront les enfants tout au long de la saison des pluies, p\u00e9riode o\u00f9 la transmission du paludisme est la plus forte.<\/p>\n<p>Le M\u00e9decin-chef du district sanitaire de Sapouy, Dr Sanogo Cheick, a pr\u00e9cis\u00e9 que plus de 8 000 enfants seront concern\u00e9s dans la province de Ziro. Il a \u00e9galement soulign\u00e9 l&rsquo;importance de la sensibilisation des parents pour une adh\u00e9sion massive \u00e0 la campagne.<\/p>\n<p>Le t\u00e9moignage de Nerwa Sawadogo, un chef de m\u00e9nage de la localit\u00e9, a renforc\u00e9 l&rsquo;engagement de la population \u00e0 participer.
