Une d\u00e9l\u00e9gation conjointe de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 burkinab\u00e8 des fibres textiles (SOFITEX SA) et de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nouvelle Citec (SN Citec SA) a effectu\u00e9 une visite des champs de coton de la SN Citec \u00e0 Y\u00e9gu\u00e9r\u00e9, dans la commune rurale de Soumousso. L\u2019initiative s\u2019inscrit dans une dynamique de soutien \u00e0 la relance de la fili\u00e8re cotonni\u00e8re, un des pilier mis de l\u2019\u00e9conomie nationale.<\/p>\n

Conduite par le Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la SOFITEX, M. <\/span>Bienvenu Par\u00e9<\/span>, et son homologue de la SN Citec, M. <\/span>Ibrahim Traor\u00e9<\/span>, la mission a permis de constater l\u2019\u00e9tat prometteur des parcelles suivies par les techniciens de la SOFITEX. Selon les pr\u00e9visions, les rendements pourraient d\u00e9passer <\/span>une tonne de coton graine par hectare<\/span>, un niveau jug\u00e9 exceptionnel pour une premi\u00e8re exp\u00e9rience.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pour Ibrahim Traor\u00e9, cette d\u00e9marche illustre l\u2019engagement ferme de la SN Citec \u00e0 accompagner la production cotonni\u00e8re nationale, en lien direct avec ses activit\u00e9s industrielles. Le dirigeant a salu\u00e9 le leadership de Bienvenu Par\u00e9 et le travail des techniciens qui ont assur\u00e9 le suivi des parcelles.<\/span><\/p>\n

De son c\u00f4t\u00e9, le Directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la SOFITEX a f\u00e9licit\u00e9 la SN Citec pour cette initiative \u00ab exemplaire \u00bb, appelant d\u2019autres entreprises \u00e0 suivre cet exemple afin de renforcer la r\u00e9silience de la fili\u00e8re. \u00ab La situation agronomique des champs est plus qu\u2019exceptionnelle. La visite s\u2019est \u00e9galement d\u00e9roul\u00e9e en pr\u00e9sence de M. <\/span>Guy Som\u00e9<\/span>, ancien DG de la SOFITEX et repr\u00e9sentant des administrateurs de la SN Citec. Celui-ci a encourag\u00e9 les deux soci\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e0 poursuivre cette collaboration jug\u00e9e strat\u00e9gique pour l\u2019avenir du coton au Burkina Faso.<\/span><\/p>\n
