La r\u00e9alisatrice et productrice Apolline Traor\u00e9 a annonc\u00e9 ce mardi 22 juillet 2025, via sa page Facebook, son entr\u00e9e officielle au sein de la prestigieuse Acad\u00e9mie des Oscars (Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences) aux \u00c9tats-Unis.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00ab Un r\u00eave de petite fille se r\u00e9alise. C\u2019EST OFFICIEL. Je suis d\u00e9sormais membre de l\u2019acad\u00e9mie des OSCARS aux USA \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffd \u00bb, a-t-elle \u00e9crit avec \u00e9motion.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">\u00c0 49 ans, Apolline Traor\u00e9 s\u2019est impos\u00e9e comme l\u2019une des figures majeures du 7e art en Afrique. Son cin\u00e9ma, r\u00e9solument engag\u00e9, met en lumi\u00e8re les voix et les luttes des femmes africaines, dans une perspective profond\u00e9ment humaine et sociale. En deux d\u00e9cennies de carri\u00e8re, elle a sign\u00e9 une \u0153uvre riche et reconnue \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle internationale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Form\u00e9e \u00e0 Emerson College \u00e0 Boston, o\u00f9 elle a obtenu une ma\u00eetrise en film, et \u00e0 la New York Film Academy pour le cadrage, Apolline Traor\u00e9 a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 un parcours exceptionnel. Elle est l\u2019auteure de 6 documentaires, 3 s\u00e9ries t\u00e9l\u00e9vis\u00e9es, 5 courts-m\u00e9trages et 4 longs-m\u00e9trages de fiction, couronn\u00e9s de multiples prix \u00e0 travers le monde.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Son dernier film, SIRA, un drame poignant sur la r\u00e9silience d\u2019une femme face \u00e0 la violence djihadiste, a rencontr\u00e9 un grand succ\u00e8s critique et public. Il succ\u00e8de \u00e0 d&rsquo;autres \u0153uvres marquantes comme Desrances (2019), Fronti\u00e8res (2017), ou encore Moi Zaphira (2013), autant de productions prim\u00e9es dans des festivals majeurs tels que le FESPACO, les African Movie Academy Awards ou encore le Pan African Film Festival de Los Angeles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Apolline Traor\u00e9 a re\u00e7u de nombreuses distinctions, dont le titre de Chevalier de l\u2019Ordre du M\u00e9rite burkinab\u00e8, la m\u00e9daille pour le combat des femmes dans le cin\u00e9ma au festival de Louxor, et le titre d\u2019ambassadrice du Mus\u00e9e National du Burkina Faso. Son engagement artistique et social en fait une ambassadrice de choix pour le Burkina Faso sur la sc\u00e8ne mondiale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">Une voix africaine \u00e0 Hollywood<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s1\">Son int\u00e9gration \u00e0 l\u2019Acad\u00e9mie des Oscars vient consacrer un parcours exemplaire et ouvrir la voie \u00e0 une meilleure repr\u00e9sentation du cin\u00e9ma africain au sein des grandes institutions internationales.
