Les habitants de la trame d’accueil de Silmiougou, une localit\u00e9 situ\u00e9e dans l’arrondissement 8 de Ouagadougou, crient \u00e0 l’injustice. R\u00e9unis ce samedi lors d’une conf\u00e9rence de presse, ils ont exprim\u00e9 leur m\u00e9contentement face au refus de pr\u00e9sumer de la Soci\u00e9t\u00e9 nationale d’am\u00e9nagement des terrains urbains (SONATUR) de respecter ses engagements de viabilisation de leur site.<\/p>\n

\u00ab De l’eau et de l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 pour tous \u00bb<\/strong><\/p>\n

Issoufou Rouamba, porte-parole des populations, a exhort\u00e9 les autorit\u00e9s burkinab\u00e8 \u00e0 se saisir du dossier de Silmiougou. \u00ab Nous exhortons les autorit\u00e9s burkinab\u00e8 \u00e0 se pencher s\u00e9rieusement sur le cas de la SONATUR afin que l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 et l’eau ne soient pas seulement l’apanage de ceux qui vivent dans les cit\u00e9s \u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 avec v\u00e9h\u00e9mence.<\/p>\n

En 2018, les populations locales ont c\u00e9d\u00e9 250 hectares de terres \u00e0 la SONATUR en vue de la r\u00e9alisation de cit\u00e9s modernes. En contrepartie, la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 s’\u00e9tait engag\u00e9e \u00e0 am\u00e9nager et viabiliser 100 hectares au profit des autochtones. Ces terres devaient servir \u00e0 reloger les habitants et leur offrir les commodit\u00e9s de base telles que l’eau et l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Un engagement non tenu<\/strong><\/p>\n

Pourtant, selon M. Rouamba, la SONATUR semble avoir fait marche arri\u00e8re. Les promesses de viabilisation, comprenant l’installation de points d’eau, l’\u00e9lectrification, ainsi que l’am\u00e9nagement de voies et de caniveaux, n’ont toujours pas \u00e9t\u00e9 tenues. \u00ab Nous avons rompu les n\u00e9gociations avec la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Abdoul Service parce que la SONATUR nous avait promis, en pr\u00e9sence de la mairie de l’arrondissement 8, l’eau, l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, des voies et des caniveaux, avant d’entamer les travaux. sur son site \u00bb, at-il rappel\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Malgr\u00e9 cela, les travaux d’\u00e9lectrification ont d\u00e9but\u00e9, mais uniquement pour les nouvelles cit\u00e9s, excluant ainsi les populations locales de Silmiougou. Cette situation a raviv\u00e9 la col\u00e8re des habitants qui d\u00e9noncent une \u00ab discrimination \u00bb flagrante. La SONATUR, quant \u00e0 elle, soutient n’avoir jamais promis autre chose que deux points d’eau et l’ouverture des principaux axes routiers.<\/p>\n

Un espoir d\u00e9\u00e7u<\/p>\n

Pour les habitants de Silmiougou, la promesse de la SONATUR avait cr\u00e9\u00e9 l’espoir d’une meilleure vie, avec des infrastructures de base qui permettraient de d\u00e9velopper des activit\u00e9s \u00e9conomiques alternatives. \u00ab Nous avons accept\u00e9 de c\u00e9der nos terres cultivables dans l’espoir de b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier de commodit\u00e9s et de pouvoir d\u00e9velopper d’autres activit\u00e9s gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l’eau et \u00e0 l’\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 \u00bb, a soulign\u00e9 M. Rouamba.<\/p>\n

Aujourd’hui, face \u00e0 ce qu’ils consid\u00e8rent comme une duperie, les habitants appellent les autorit\u00e9s actuelles \u00e0 intervenir pour que leurs droits soient respect\u00e9s. Ils demandent que la SONATUR soit contrainte \u00e0 honorer ses engagements initiaux et que les populations locales puissent enfin b\u00e9n\u00e9ficier des infrastructures promises.<\/p>\n

La balle est d\u00e9sormais dans le camp des autorit\u00e9s, \u00e0 qui il revient de trancher cette affaire qui pourrait laisser une cicatrice profonde dans la confiance des populations envers les projets de d\u00e9veloppement urbain.<\/p>\n
