Ce long m\u00e9trage, adaptation africaine de <\/span><span class=\"s5\">La Trag\u00e9die de Macbeth<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> de Shakespeare, marque l\u2019aboutissement d\u2019un parcours entam\u00e9 bien des ann\u00e9es auparavant, entre tradition et innovation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s4\">N\u00e9 en 1961 \u00e0 Bobo-Dioulasso au sein d\u2019une famille de griots, Dani Kouyat\u00e9 a h\u00e9rit\u00e9 d\u2019un sens inn\u00e9 du r\u00e9cit. Fils du l\u00e9gendaire Sotigui Kouyat\u00e9, il grandit au rythme des contes et de la transmission orale, un h\u00e9ritage qu\u2019il transposera dans son cin\u00e9ma. Apr\u00e8s une formation \u00e0 l\u2019Institut Africain d\u2019\u00c9ducation Cin\u00e9matographique de Ouagadougou, il compl\u00e8te son apprentissage en France, obtenant une Ma\u00eetrise d\u2019Animation Culturelle et Sociale \u00e0 La Sorbonne, ainsi qu\u2019un Dipl\u00f4me d\u2019\u00c9tudes Approfondies en Esth\u00e9tique du Cin\u00e9ma \u00e0 Paris 8.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s4\">Son entr\u00e9e en sc\u00e8ne cin\u00e9matographique d\u00e9bute en 1989 avec <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Bilakoro<\/span><span class=\"s4\">, un court m\u00e9trage cor\u00e9alis\u00e9 avec S\u00e9kou Traor\u00e9 et Issa Traor\u00e9 de Brahima. Mais c\u2019est en 1995 que Dani Kouyat\u00e9 frappe un grand coup avec <\/span><span class=\"s5\">K\u00e9ita! L\u2019H\u00e9ritage du Griot<\/span><span class=\"s4\">, une \u0153uvre qui illustre son attachement aux r\u00e9cits africains et qui remporte plusieurs distinctions, dont le Grand Prix Cannes Junior. Suivent <\/span><span class=\"s5\">Sia, le r\u00eave du python<\/span><span class=\"s4\">(2000) et <\/span><span class=\"s5\">OuagaSaga<\/span><span class=\"s4\"> (2005), confirmant son talent pour conjuguer traditions africaines et mise en sc\u00e8ne cin\u00e9matographique contemporaine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s4\">Avec <\/span><strong><span class=\"s5\">Katanga \u00a0\u00ab La danse des scorpions \u00bb<\/span><\/strong><span class=\"s4\">, Kouyat\u00e9 revisite un classique shakespearien en le transposant dans un royaume africain, donnant ainsi une r\u00e9sonance in\u00e9dite aux th\u00e8mes universels de la trahison et du pouvoir. Cette \u0153uvre ambitieuse lui vaut une moisson de prix au FESPACO 2025, dont le Prix du public et le Prix sp\u00e9cial Semb\u00e8ne Ousmane d\u2019Ecobank.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"s4\">Dani Kouyat\u00e9 incarne une vision du cin\u00e9ma africain o\u00f9 la m\u00e9moire dialogue avec l\u2019avenir.
