Le Minist\u00e8re de l’Industrie, du Commerce et de l’Artisanat (Minist\u00e8re du D\u00e9veloppement industriel,du Commerce,de l’Artisanat et des PME<\/span><\/a><\/span>) a officiellement lanc\u00e9 la plateforme digitale eSIAO \u00e0 Ouagadougou, \u00e0 l’approche de la 17e \u00e9dition du Salon International de l’Artisanat de Ouagadougou – SIAO<\/span><\/a><\/span> , pr\u00e9vue du 25 octobre au 3 novembre 2024.<\/div>\n

Cette plateforme, pr\u00e9sent\u00e9e par le Secr\u00e9taire G\u00e9n\u00e9ral du minist\u00e8re, Oumarou BARRO, vise \u00e0 simplifier l\u2019acc\u00e8s des artisans, exposants et participants internationaux \u00e0 la r\u00e9servation, la location et le paiement en ligne des stands. Elle garantit \u00e9galement une s\u00e9curit\u00e9 accrue des paiements et une am\u00e9lioration des services, comparativement \u00e0 la version pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente qui montrait certaines limites.<\/div>\n

Le SIAO, lanc\u00e9 en 1984 en tant qu’exposition-vente artisanale, a pris forme institutionnelle en 1990. C\u00e9l\u00e9br\u00e9 tous les deux ans, il attire la participation de nombreux pays africains, et se pr\u00e9sente comme une plateforme cl\u00e9 pour promouvoir l\u2019artisanat africain \u00e0 l’\u00e9chelle internationale.<\/div>\n

La 17e \u00e9dition se tiendra sous le th\u00e8me \u00ab Artisanat africain, entrepreneuriat des jeunes et autonomisation \u00bb, un sujet pertinent pour encourager l’insertion des jeunes dans le secteur de l’artisanat. Le comit\u00e9 d\u2019organisation a \u00e9t\u00e9 install\u00e9 ce jeudi \u00e0 Ouagadougou pour superviser les pr\u00e9paratifs de cet \u00e9v\u00e9nement majeur.<\/div>\n

Le SIAO continue de renforcer son impact en offrant divers services, notamment la location de pavillons et du mat\u00e9riel d\u2019exposition, tout en jouant un r\u00f4le important dans le d\u00e9veloppement de l’artisanat africain \u00e0 travers des audits, des conseils et des formations sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9es.<\/div>\n
