Apr\u00e8s 28 ann\u00e9es d\u2019absence, le Burkina Faso retrouve enfin son prestigieux troph\u00e9e : l&rsquo;\u00c9talon d\u2019or de Yennenga. Dani Kouyat\u00e9, h\u00e9ritier du l\u00e9gendaire Sotigui Kouyat\u00e9, inscrit son nom au palmar\u00e8s du Festival panafricain du cin\u00e9ma et de la t\u00e9l\u00e9vision de Ouagadougou (FESPACO) en remportant le Grand Prix avec son film <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Katanga ou la danse des scorpions<\/span><span class=\"s2\">. <\/span><span class=\"s4\">C\u2019\u00e9tait ce samedi 1er mars 2025<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, \u00e0 Ouagadougou. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Cette cons\u00e9cration marque un tournant pour le cin\u00e9ma burkinab\u00e8. Depuis 1997, date du sacre de Gaston Kabor\u00e9 avec <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Buud Yam<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, aucun r\u00e9alisateur du pays des Hommes int\u00e8gres n\u2019avait r\u00e9ussi \u00e0 d\u00e9crocher la plus haute distinction du festival. Dani Kouyat\u00e9 devient ainsi le troisi\u00e8me cin\u00e9aste burkinab\u00e8 \u00e0 \u00eatre couronn\u00e9, apr\u00e8s Idrissa Ou\u00e9draogo en 1991 et Gaston Kabor\u00e9 en 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">\u00ab\u00a0Je rends hommage \u00e0 Souleymane Ciss\u00e9, qui a \u00e9t\u00e9 pour moi un mod\u00e8le et une source d\u2019inspiration. Il a trac\u00e9 un chemin que je m\u2019efforce, avec humilit\u00e9, de suivre. Je d\u00e9die cet \u00c9talon d\u2019or au vaillant peuple du Burkina Faso, ainsi qu\u2019\u00e0 tous ceux qui ont sacrifi\u00e9 leur vie sur le champ de bataille pour d\u00e9fendre notre patrie. La lutte est ardue, mais la victoire est in\u00e9luctable\u00a0\u00bb, a-t-il d\u00e9clar\u00e9 \u00e0 chaud. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Pour Dani Kouyat\u00e9, cette victoire a un go\u00fbt particulier. En 2001, son film <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Sya, le r\u00eave du python<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, acclam\u00e9 par la critique, n\u2019avait pas remport\u00e9 le prix tant convoit\u00e9. Mais cette ann\u00e9e, le jury du FESPACO a salu\u00e9 son \u0153uvre <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Katanga<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, qui s\u2019impose comme un chef-d&rsquo;\u0153uvre du cin\u00e9ma africain contemporain.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Cette r\u00e9compense est \u00e9galement une reconnaissance du talent et de l\u2019engagement du cin\u00e9aste, qui porte en lui l\u2019h\u00e9ritage de son p\u00e8re, le grand Sotigui Kouyat\u00e9, figure embl\u00e9matique du th\u00e9\u00e2tre et du cin\u00e9ma africain. Avec <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Katanga ou la danse des scorpions<\/span><span class=\"s2\">, Dani Kouyat\u00e9 signe un film puissant, m\u00ealant tradition et modernit\u00e9, m\u00e9moire et questionnements sur l\u2019avenir de l\u2019Afrique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">Le Burkina Faso renoue avec son histoire cin\u00e9matographique<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Le succ\u00e8s de Dani Kouyat\u00e9 rappelle l\u2019\u00e2ge d\u2019or du cin\u00e9ma burkinab\u00e8, incarn\u00e9 par des figures comme Idrissa Ou\u00e9draogo et Gaston Kabor\u00e9. Ce dernier, r\u00e9alisateur de <\/span><span class=\"s3\">W\u00eand K\u00fbuni<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> (1982), <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Zan Boko<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> (1988) et <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Rabi<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> (1992), reste une r\u00e9f\u00e9rence incontournable. Son sacre en 1997 avec <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Buud Yam<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> avait marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9poque.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Aujourd\u2019hui, avec cette nouvelle distinction, le Burkina Faso prouve qu\u2019il demeure une terre de cin\u00e9ma, o\u00f9 les r\u00e9cits africains continuent de briller sur la sc\u00e8ne internationale.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><strong><span class=\"s4\">Une victoire pour le cin\u00e9ma africain<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s2\">Le FESPACO 2025 restera grav\u00e9 dans l\u2019histoire du cin\u00e9ma burkinab\u00e8 et africain. Cette \u00e9dition prouve une fois de plus la richesse et la diversit\u00e9 des talents du continent.
