En effet, \u00e0 l\u2019issue d\u2019un atelier de concertation tenu du 5 au 7 f\u00e9vrier \u00e0 Ouahigouya, les acteurs du secteur ont convenu d\u2019un prix minimum garanti de 300 F CFA par kilogramme pour les producteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Pr\u00e9sid\u00e9 par Ludovic YIGO, Directeur G\u00e9n\u00e9ral de la Promotion de l\u2019\u00c9conomie Rurale, cet atelier a r\u00e9uni les repr\u00e9sentants du gouvernement, l\u2019Union r\u00e9gionale des producteurs de pomme de terre du Nord, les acheteurs grossistes et d\u00e9taillants ainsi que la ligue des consommateurs. L\u2019objectif \u00e9tait de structurer la commercialisation du tubercule et d\u2019assurer un revenu stable aux producteurs tout en garantissant un acc\u00e8s abordable aux consommateurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Cette concertation a abouti \u00e0 la signature de 14 contrats de vente repr\u00e9sentant un volume de 10 162 tonnes de pomme de terre, pour une valeur estim\u00e9e \u00e0 plus de 3 milliards 081 millions de francs CFA. Une avanc\u00e9e majeure pour le secteur qui b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un fort potentiel \u00e9conomique et strat\u00e9gique.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Issa SAWADOGO, pr\u00e9sident de l\u2019Union r\u00e9gionale des producteurs de pomme de terre du Nord, s\u2019est f\u00e9licit\u00e9 de cette initiative qui permet aux agriculteurs de s\u00e9curiser leurs revenus tout en consolidant des relations commerciales p\u00e9rennes avec les acheteurs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Le gouvernement burkinab\u00e8, \u00e0 travers les minist\u00e8res en charge de l\u2019Agriculture et du Commerce, entend renforcer son appui aux acteurs de la fili\u00e8re. Ludovic YIGO a ainsi annonc\u00e9 des mesures concr\u00e8tes, notamment l\u2019installation prochaine de chambres froides \u00e0 \u00e9nergie solaire pour am\u00e9liorer la conservation des r\u00e9coltes et des discussions en cours pour la labellisation de la \u00ab\u202fPomme de terre du Burkina\u202f\u00bb.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Dans le m\u00eame \u00e9lan, il a encourag\u00e9 les producteurs et commer\u00e7ants \u00e0 adopter les sacs estampill\u00e9s \u00ab\u202fPomme de terre du Burkina\u202f\u00bb afin de valoriser le produit local. Il a \u00e9galement insist\u00e9 sur l\u2019importance de respecter les accords conclus pour stabiliser les prix sur le march\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">L\u2019atelier s\u2019inscrit dans la dynamique de l\u2019\u00ab\u202fOffensive agropastorale et halieutique 2023-2025\u202f\u00bb, qui vise une production nationale annuelle de 60 000 tonnes de pomme de terre. La r\u00e9gion du Nord, acteur cl\u00e9 de cet objectif, b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie d\u2019un accompagnement strat\u00e9gique pour renforcer sa production et sa commercialisation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Les participants ont ainsi formul\u00e9 plusieurs recommandations, notamment la vulgarisation du syst\u00e8me d\u2019irrigation par aspersion, l\u2019organisation d\u2019une foire nationale d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la pomme de terre, l\u2019acquisition d\u2019un espace de vente \u00e0 Ouagadougou et la construction de chambres froides d\u2019une capacit\u00e9 minimale de 7 000 tonnes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"s2\">Avec ces avanc\u00e9es, la fili\u00e8re pomme de terre du Burkina Faso se structure davantage, garantissant aux producteurs des revenus s\u00e9curis\u00e9s et aux consommateurs un produit accessible et de qualit\u00e9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: right;\"><strong><span class=\"s2\">Par Vox Sahel <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Un nouveau chapitre s\u2019ouvre pour la fili\u00e8re pomme de terre au Burkina Faso.
