La Haute Autorit\u00e9 de la Communication (HAC) du Mali a ordonn\u00e9 la suspension de TV5MONDE<\/span><\/a><\/span> des bouquets des distributeurs autoris\u00e9s sur le territoire malien, \u00e0 compter du 9 septembre 2024, et pour une dur\u00e9e de trois mois. Cette d\u00e9cision, officialis\u00e9e par la D\u00e9cision N\u00b02024-00130\/P-HAC , intervient apr\u00e8s que la cha\u00eene a \u00e9t\u00e9 jug\u00e9e en infraction par rapport aux normes l\u00e9gales et r\u00e9glementaires en vigueur concernant la r\u00e9gulation des m\u00e9dias au Mali.<\/div>\n

L’infraction en question concerne un reportage diffus\u00e9 dans le cadre du journal Afrique de TV5 Monde<\/a>,<\/strong> le 26 ao\u00fbt 2024. Selon la HAC, ce reportage a manqu\u00e9 d’\u00e9quilibre, ne pr\u00e9sentant que la version de sources dit \u00ab concordantes \u00bb sans inclure la version des Forces Arm\u00e9es Maliennes relay\u00e9e par la Direction de l’Information et des Relations Publiques des Arm\u00e9es (DIRPA). Le journaliste aurait \u00e9galement omis d’utiliser au conditionnel pour des informations non v\u00e9rifi\u00e9es, contrevenant ainsi aux r\u00e8gles de prudence et d’objectivit\u00e9 journalistiques.<\/div>\n

La HAC rappelle qu’un avertissement avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 \u00e9mis \u00e0 TV5 Monde le 15 mai 2023 pour des manquements similaires. Cette nouvelle suspension s’inscrit dans le cadre des mesures pr\u00e9vues par le d\u00e9cret2016-0626du 25 ao\u00fbt 2016 , relatif aux sanctions non p\u00e9nales que la HAC peut prononcer.<\/div>\n
